Taste the flavours You didn't know existed in coffee. The AeroPress is a simple, easy-to-use coffee maker that with a rapid brewing process extracts all the flavours from Your beans, giving You more rich, pure-tasting coffee with no grit, no bitterness, and less acidity.
AeroPress is famous for its flexibility and a wide range of preparation methods. Here is an example, how to make a cup of coffee in a proportion of 1 to 16 (1 g coffee – 16 g water). Use 14 grams of coffee to 230 milliliters of water. The time of preparation should be around 2:00 minutes.
► Bring the water to boil to 85 - 95°C (185.0 – 203.0°F). Switch off the kettle without the thermometer when the first bubbles appear. Put the filter in the lid of the AeroPress, scald it with hot water, then pour out the water, thus getting rid of the paper aftertaste. Use several paper filters for a cleaner cup of coffee or a metal filter for the opposite effect.
► Grind the coffee with medium roughness (smaller grinding – the coffee will run slower, bigger grinding – faster). Pour the ground coffee into the AeroPress with the lid on and the filter in it.
► Pour all the water into the AeroPress and mix several times with a spoon to get all the coffee granules wet. Put on and leave the plunger of the AeroPress without squeezing the coffee.
► Start slowly depressing the plunger at 1:30 minutes. The coffee should be ground with medium roughness that there is not much resistance to pressing the plunger. The coffee will run into the serving container in about 2 minutes.
